Writing Retreats

In the Mountains of Creativity

Write, learn, focus, relax, dream, reflect, eat, sleep, be inspired, write some more and let the creative juices flow!
The tranquil little village of Warburton, located deep in the mountains of the Yarra Valley, is a writer’s paradise.
Apart from the beautiful scenery, cosy cafes, rivers and forests, it could be the witches spinning magic in the hills, the juicy conversations, the unique lifestyles or just that other-worldly atmosphere!Work on your current writing project, begin, continue or finish that novel, article, writing piece or find inspiration for something new.
Perhaps you need to move through a block or just want time and focus to write, write, write. Whether it is hanging out with writers or people who love writing in a lovely, relaxing place or an immersion into the wonderful world of writing, this is the retreat for you.
Included in the weekend: gourmet food, facilitation, writing exercises, revealing discussions, helpful feedback, short walks into inspiring places, relaxation, optional workshopping of own and others material and plenty of time to reflect and write.
All this is a gentle, fun, supportive and instructive space with other writers – both experienced and beginners and those in their own unique category. Below are the dates and themes. We often travel away from themes to explore general writing topics and discuss the writing pieces that people bring with them.
